Welcome!
Home Dialysis for Fellows is a resource on all things related to home dialysis.
You will find common (and not-so-common) case presentations on important topics in peritoneal dialysis and home hemodialysis. There are also links to important studies in the field and general resources. The goal is to gain confidence in home dialysis management and feel prepared for any clinical issues you may face.
I created this website as a resource for anyone interested in learning more about home dialysis. Throughout my training, I have grown to appreciate the benefits of dialysis at home and the amazing impact it can have on patients' lives. My aim is to shed light on this area of medicine and advocate for home therapy. I hope to do this in the form of teaching.
I'm originally from Texas where I obtained my medical degree at The University of North Texas Health Science Center and completed residency in internal medicine at Houston Methodist Hospital. I moved to the Pacific Northwest where I finished nephrology fellowship at The University of Washington. I trained an additional year at UW through the Peckham Home Dialysis and Policy Fellowship.
